Private Residence, Clapton in Gordano

This project was unique in the fact that it was the renovation of a single room rather than a whole property. Already a client of ours, the owner (a professional gentleman) wanted us to recreate the kitchen space in his home to reflect his love of ergonomics while making the most of its natural woodland location. Embracing the monochromatic, we combined bespoke-made dark slatted floor units from Beauford Bespoke below with simple, white cupboards above. The space needed to incorporate both a functioning kitchen as well as a breakfast area and a place for social entertaining, maintaining the brief of a clean, contemporary style.

 We created a little breakfast area that included space for the all-important coffee machine; in fact each element of this kitchen had to be perfectly placed so that form and function were seamless. In keeping with the simplicity of the colour palette, worktops were white Silestone and sophisticated additions came in the form of electronic opening doors, Italian lighting and an exquisite carbon fibre tap sourced from Kohler.
