Albany, Port Isaac
This project was a complete, end-to-end renovation. An end of terrace property in the middle of Port Isaac, it had not been lived in for eight years and much of it was totally derelict. It had once been and old haberdashery shop and so had a lot of stories to tell as we peeled back the layers.
The whole layout was reconfigured to achieve a three-bedroom holiday property. We laid a Delabole slate floor and the original stonework within the property was brought to life with lime mortar. We chose natural, light colours for this palette, in keeping with its nautical location and used wall panelling to add texture. Subtle blues and pinks were used against oak flooring to create softness. Small treasures and unique furniture pieces were added to achieve personality and a nod to the nautical.
